1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Mun software application ("Software") or website (https://mun-ai.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Software.

2. License Grants

Mun offers two straightforward licensing options:

A. Free Edition ($0 Free Forever)

You are granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the Free Edition of Mun on any compatible device (Linux, macOS, Windows). The Free Edition has full feature parity with paid editions and is supported by small, rarely-appearing non-intrusive sponsor notices.

B. Ad-Free Lifetime License ($4.99 One-Time Purchase)

Upon payment of the one-time $4.99 fee, you are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable lifetime license to use Mun with all sponsor notices permanently removed across all your personal devices. This license includes lifetime updates and bug fixes for the Software.

3. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Refund Policy)

Refund requests after 30 days from the purchase date are handled at our discretion for exceptional circumstances (such as unresolvable hardware compatibility issues).

4. Third-Party Services & API Keys (BYOK)

Mun enables you to connect third-party Large Language Model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, DeepSeek) and cloud productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).

• Direct Provider Relationship: You are solely responsible for your accounts with these third-party services and for complying with their applicable terms of use and acceptable use policies.
• API Costs: Any charges incurred from your third-party API keys are billed directly by those providers to you. Mun has zero markup on third-party API usage.
• No Endorsement: Mun is an independent desktop application and is not sponsored, endorsed by, or affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or Microsoft.

5. Restrictions & Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Distribute, lease, rent, sublicense, or resell your personal Ad-Free license key to unauthorized third parties.
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or tamper with license verification or security mechanisms.
• Use the Software in violation of any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

6. Intellectual Property

The Software, including its design, branding, icons, user interface, and proprietary desktop window management code, is the intellectual property of the creators of Mun. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Software, only the rights to use it in accordance with your license.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY COMBINATION OF OPERATING SYSTEM WINDOW MANAGER OR HARDWARE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE CREATORS OF MUN BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR WORK INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SOFTWARE (UP TO $4.99).

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Software, legal requirements, or pricing. Material updates will be reflected with an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Mun following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
